Indian Marriage System
I could have completed this topic with just two words, It Sucks. But again, since I am a newbie and people should know that I also can write some blogs, I am gonna get in to the details. Why Why Why ? Why should a guy get married between 26-28 and a girl between 24-26? Who came up with this law. If I find one legal document or any ancient palm script about this rule then thats it. I am gonna hate that person. And moreover who preached this laws and rules to the parents, that too the parents of all generations. Seriously man, its so sad :( My parents started talking about marriage to me now, when I am 26. And I am actually a bit happy about this coz, one of my friend (a guy) mom started talking about his marriage when he was 23 :D and finally he is gonna get married now, when he is 27. But whats with this number ? 27, 28 and 29 ?!? I have told my parents strictly to not talk about marriage for next 3 years. Come on, I have just started living my own life the way I want it. And the threat from mom's side comes like a typical Indian drama, sentiment. We are getting old, we want to shape a life for you when we are happy and healthy. Argh, Amma, I am 26 and not 16, Do you think I have no idea about my future and I cant shape it for me :-/ Thats so rude !
And dad's will act like typical dad. Not say a word to me, but do all underground activities. My dad spoke to me about this once, and I told him my plans. He diddnt speak to me about this later but gives a key to mom :D Typical Typical ! Mom and dad also I can adjust sometimes but these neighbors, relatives, Paal kaarans and Paper kaarans are not in my control :( They speak about this daily yes DAILY to my mom, LOSERS. Just because if there is a extra girl coming, the Paal kaaran might get extra money, is accepted. But what about these maids and Paper kaarans ?!? Hello I am not gonna buy a extra paper or put less clothes for washing after marriage. And neighbor aunties ! Haiyo aunty, you dont even have a hot girl, then why you have to worry about my marriage ?!?
Conclusion, getting married after 30 is not a crime. I will anyways marry a educated girl, So she wont think I have disease or I am very old for marriage. And my parents think that I wont get a girl when I am old coz by that time all the girls would have been taken :D But I seriously doubt that coz girls are delaying their marriage as much as possible. So I see a change in Indian marriage system and I want to contribute to the change. Who is in to contribute ?
